Karly and Adam got married in Rochester this past fall with a ceremony at Chapel Hill and reception at Arbor Loft. Portraits were taken at St. Joseph’s Park which was a gorgeous backdrop for their formal photos. The church at St. Joseph’s was built in the 1800s but was destroyed in a fire. The walls were left standing and it’s been converted into this beautiful park!
How it all began…
“We actually met on Tinder! We then had a real first date a week or so later. Adam proposed on a weekend getaway to a local ski resort. It was perfect! Our wedding was in the fall so we chose a color scheme of pale pink, gold and burgundy. The flowers had pops of burgundy, the girls’ dresses were burgundy, and so were my shoes!”
The dream dress…
“I have always wanted to be a classic bride. I think less is more. I think Pronovias dresses captured my vision. I wore a crepe, high neckline fit and flare with a lace back. I added a pop of color in my shoes and a cathedral veil!”
How we made the wedding our own…
“We had floral centerpieces as well as some tables that just had green garland. We utilized photos of our dog wearing numbers to use them as the table numbers, and in lieu of favors we offered donations to the SPCA! Instead of a traditional wedding cake, we had an assortment of donuts. It was a hit! We also had a homemade photo booth with our own backdrop and props, including photos of our little pup!”
