While many shops closed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, some were able to reinvent the wheel, Stacy K Floral is one of them. Though, a temporarily self-proclaimed “one-woman show,” customers can still place phone and online orders and then deliver them contact-free Tuesdays-Saturdays. From 9 AM-noon, place your same-day orders online. Any orders placed after is for next day delivery. From her website, customers even have the option to choose bundles: a floral arrangement with a little pick me up treat from the bakeshop next door, Scratch Bakeshop. These specials are available on Wednesdays-Saturdays.

When there’s not a global pandemic, Stacy K Floral is still killing it with custom arrangements for weddings and special events. Each client receives a customized proposal reflecting their preferences. From there on, clients sit down and talk about their vision, colors, likes and dislikes so that Stacy can create custom arrangements personalized to them.

Stacy started working in the industry over 22 years ago, even obtaining a degree in Floriculture. In 2010, she opened the floral studio. She gained recognition for her unique style and arrangements, and as a result, she moved to a larger location in 2016. The team has a sharp eye for style, not just with florals but with design, too. They travel the world looking for unique accessories, decor, and furnishings to bring to the Rochester, NY market. Stacy K’s design sense is strongly influenced by colors, textures and unique prints.

This year, Stacy wants to focus on being more environmentally conscious and try out more foam-free designs. The “foam” in foam-free refers to the water-absorbent florists use in their arrangements. It’s super convenient. However, more florists are stepping up and finding new ways to maintain their WOW factor and be eco-friendly. We love this!
