Buffalo's Old First Ward is known for its riverfront, corner taverns and St. Patrick's Day festivities, however did you know it is also the home to one of the most unique wedding venue spaces in the downtown Buffalo area?
Built in 1903, The Barrel Factory is the former home to Quaker City Cooperage Co, which manufactured wooden slack barrels for grain, malt, and apples. After the cooperage closed and several other companies attempted to reuse the space, it lay abandoned until 2015. A massive project began and the building was lovingly restored and much of the original materials were reused or repurposed to preserve the charm of the space.
Today, The Barrel Factory is the home to a craft distillery, restaurant and also a charming event space that comfortably seats 225 guests. The venue features a beautiful collection of vintage tables sitting beneath a canopy of string lights, an outdoor upper level patio and cigar porch, a private bridal lounge, use of their decor collection from the Workshop and a full range of in house catering options.
