My mother is a custom seamstress in Peru. I learned from her. I have been sewing as far back as I can remember. I lived in Argentina for 11 years & I learned the art of hand sewing there. I had my little factory. I made a little bit of everything from lingerie & baby clothes to hoodies… After I moved to the U.S. to marry my best friend, and had my beautiful babies, I stopped doing what I loved (sewing). Thankfully, I could not help myself and I found the way to get back to my old love, this time with a new challenge: clutches.
I was working with a bride with a custom order for her and her bridesmaids. She knew what she wanted from the beginning so it was a pleasure to work for her. She was so pleased with her order than she invited me to her wedding! What can be more rewarding than that?! … It still makes me smile every time I think of it.
