Spruce up your holiday weekend leftovers with a fresh and fabulous cocktail! Peerless Events is bringing us a twist on the classic Paloma! Palomas are that beautiful crisp seg-way for a margarita, and with grapefruits in season through winter, it’s a fresh take on a summer favorite. When thinking of beautiful cocktails for weddings in particular, we want to add champagne to EVERYTHING. I mean, can you really celebrate an occasion without it, or do you want to?
The Paloma Royale
1.5 oz Tequila (Reposado suggested) .5 oz Aperol .5 oz Fresh Lime Juice .5 oz Agave Suryp (simple syrup will do) 1 oz Pink Grapefruit Juice 1 Healthy Pinch of Sea Salt Prosecco or Dry Brut Champagne
Shake well in shaker with ice, strain into glass (rocks glass is fine here), top with Prosecco or a Dry Brut Champagne. Sea salt adds that necessary kick to the drink, and as salt does, brings out the flavor in the tequila and grapefruit, that can easily be muddled by the champagne. Enjoy the treat, with it’s dusty rose color it’s lovely on the table!
