The Powerhouse is over! It was wonderful meeting so many of you and seeing you connect with our wedding pros. Not only that, it was nice getting the chance to connect you to new businesses in the area! #supportlocalbusinesses are we right?! This show felt special in the sense that we had some collaborative booths that nailed it out of the park and every vendor stepped up their booth game to another level. Thank you so much to The Powerhouse for hosting us, yet again, and for allowing the Indie Weddings Crew to fully take over! We even went back to our roots a little and had some DIY craft booths. This year, we decided to take our own advice and think outside of the box for our fashion show, and we’re so happy we did! These pros know how to do it up, honey. Our very own made by anatomy and her models KILLED it on our eclectic rug runway with rugs provided by The Knotted Fox and the gorgeous floral stands by Bushel Events. It all flowed beautifully! Can we also take a sec to talk about how beautiful our models looked?! The ladies at Corto’s Salon and Spa are so talented and we are so happy they teamed up with us! Dare we say that this fashion show is one of our faves?! Saxman Slim played some jazz covers as we enjoyed some wine & boozy pudding shots. It was overall a great time. But don’t worry, we have some pics to catch you up from the night!
Let’s talk about the space! Yes, it’s huge! Between the multitoned walls and our “I Said Yes” selfie station, The Powerhouse has countless spots perfect for photo-ops. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow for natural light to pass during the day, but give an intimate vibe at night. It was the perfect spot for our show.
This month, we’ve relaunched our monthly newsletter, “Indie Edit,” where we go through the wedding planning process WITH YOU. It’s like we’re your fairy godmother. We use our wealth of knowledge to try and make wedding planning as fun and stress-free as possible, so make sure you sign up for that to make your life easier and get some discounts.
